Vintage Snip of the Week: Cloche Hat
From time to time movies inspire me a great deal. Not long ago I bumped into some amazing photos of Angelina Jolie on the set of The Changeling. She was dressed in brown fur, a cloche hat and short wig for her upcoming 1920s drama based on a true story.
I’m a sucker for old Hollywood glamour and elegance so you can understand my excitement when I saw a grey felt cloche hat with a diamanté buckle at a flea market nearby. Yes, I didn’t think twice. And yes, I’m in love. I think the hat goes extremely well with my grey vintage platform pumps and I so would love to take these beauties out some day soon. Gosh how I wish it was warm enough already to take a slow Sunday stroll through the town.

Oh my…I just love your hat. I love hats but I don’t wear them so often.
Thanks! I love hats as well but I should get more creative though. I find myself sticking to berets and crocheted hats most of the time.
