Another Pair of Vintage Nokia Rubber Boots

It seems there are some vintage high heel Nokia rubber boots out there. Today I spotted this elegant pair of beige Nokia rubber boots from eBay.
You can find these and other vintage Nokia rubber boots here.

Hey, thanks for thinking of me, I’m slowly getting my mojo back :).
I actually have a pair of vintage Nokia wellies much like these, just not this tall. Also another pair which is black. I got them both from the Recycling Centre at the joke price of 8 euros for the 2 pairs. That was extraordinary luck.
I have yet to find red ones (like the ones you posted earlier). That would be a dream come true!
wow, they’re great.
Nokia. Any relation to the phone company?
Vasiliisa: That’s nice to hear. I’m looking forward to your updates. :)
Gosh, you were so lucky with your rubber boots! I would like to have black and red ones but those crazy prizes at eBay are way out of my league.
The Seeker: Aren’t they!?
Secretista: Yup, before Nokia made its fortune in mobile business, they manufactured rubber boots, tv’s, computer screens and such. I guess my generation has a special relationship with Nokia rubber boots.
And speaking of our generation, there’s a honorary badge for you to pick up at my blog :)
I like that they’re a clean pair. I was at a shop yesterday and all the boots had some metal chain or buckles or fringe, and while I love that sort of thing, sometimes you just want simplicity.
Vasiliisa: Thanks for the honor! I was already writing a post about this issue but then that researcher in me took over, and I started to see flaming phenomena much more complicated than it currently is presented in Finnish blogs. I’m not sure if this blog is a correct forum to publish my wonderings, though. I will sleep on it, and consider this all over again tomorrow.
Bigglassesgirl: You’ve said it! Simplicity is the thing that attracts me the most in these boots.
